Great article on on 43 Supplements Exposed: Which Ones to Consider, Which Ones to Avoid. This summarises the sources and general views on the most common supplements.

With that said, I’ll add that:
1. Check with someone in the know before you embark on any type of lifestyle changes. I personally recommend Dan and Polly’s Six Week Reset challenge that teaches you life long nutritional habits for overall health. Check this out (with a mega discount from me!)

2. Not all supplements are created equal, and a number of studies will compare various brands. Before you spend money for something you’d just piss away, think twice. One to come regularly on top, because they are pharmaceutical grade are Usana’s. These have certainly changed my health for the better.
